Marta Calheiros
Executive Producer
Portugal | Spain
I began my career in London’s buzzing agency world, working with TBWA, Grey, Publicis, Wieden+Kennedy, and McCann, and had the rare thrill of collaborating with David Lynch on PlayStation’s iconic “The Third Place” campaign. From there, I shifted into film and documentary with Talkback Productions and the BBC, before planting new roots in southern Europe.
In 2005, I founded Mad For It Productions in Barcelona, a hybrid production company and photo agency that built long-lasting creative relationships around the world. By 2018, Lisbon was calling, and I launched Mamma Team Portugal, serving as Managing Director and Executive Producer until 2025. There, I steered everything from international shoots to HR, finance, and legal, all while championing sustainable practices and nurturing teams through the turbulence of COVID.
Today, I bring together a wealth of cross-cultural production experience and talent representation. Fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, I have a passion for finding directors, photographers, and creative partners who spark new stories. My credits span global brands, award-winning directors and photographers, and shoots across Europe and beyond.
I’ve had the privilege to work with some of the world’s most talented and creative minds, as well as renowned brands, among which I highlight Bernd Faass, Bruce St. Clair, Chris Seegel, Christophe Dolcerocca, David Lynch, Eoin Glaister, Eric Hillenbrand, Jan Wentz, Julian Paul (MyTheresa), Justin Izumi, Manson, Matthaus Bussmann, Max Luz, Nina Aaldering, Robin Willis, Sam Holst, VIVIENNE & TAMAS, Yves Callewaert, Zoran Bihac, Cezary Zacharewicz, Ekkehart Pollack, Franz Lustig, Marc Miró, Maher Maleh, Matías Penachino, Mathias Schöningh, Adam Smith, Alex de Mora, Angelo Pennetta, Anke Luckmann, Ben Rayner, Bibi Borthwick, Broomberg & Chanarin, Clara Balzary, David Daub, David Titlow, Emma Tempest, Florian Geiss, Gary Burchell, Gregory Harris, Jaap Vliegenthart, Jean-Yves Lemoigne, Johan Sandberg, Julien T.
